Latest Sky Sports Selections Notification

Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be made by the broadcasters on a four-week rolling basis starting from 1 February (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March). Where are games shown?

Sky Bet EFL fixtures are broadcast via either an existing Sky Sports channel or Sky Sports+

Integrated into the current Sky TV experience and the revamped Sky Sports mobile app, Sky Sports+ is available at no extra cost for subscribers of the full Sky Sports package. All televised fixtures are also available on the streaming service, NOW.

What has changed this season?

In line with the uplift in matches, weekends where all divisions and the Premier League are scheduled to play, 10 regular weekend games across the three divisions will be broadcast, including seven games at 12.30 pm on a Saturday. This will include up to five Sky Bet Championship matches and up to five matches across Sky Bet League One and Sky Bet League Two.

In a landmark commitment, the EFL and Sky committed to providing fans and clubs up to five months’ notice of TV selections, an increase from the five weeks' notice given across the majority of the 2023/24 season.

This is from the EFL website

Within seven days of the EFL Fixture Release Day, all matches selected for broadcast for the period to the end of September were announced, and before a ball was kicked in August, all TV selections were confirmed for the period up to the FA Cup third round in early January 2025.

In November 2024, selections were made in respect of all matches played between the end of the third round proper of the FA Cup and the first weekend of March 2025.
