I don’t think Ipswich have recruited badly really

Some signings weren’t great; that keeper cost them points.

I think the issue is that they got promoted with a squad that massively outperformed its ability, and therefore were playing catch up more than most.

If they hadn’t gone up last season, I very much doubt they’d have been challenging for auto again this season without massive investment.

Anyway, before we all jizz our pants, they aren’t relegated yet. They’re right in the mix to stay up.
