What actually was the timing though?

I presume the club were notified on Monday at the latest, then exercised their right to appeal, with that decision coming through early afternoon on Tuesday.

At that point, we should have know that he was going to be banned and prepared accordingly. Hard to see what possible alternate evidence we could have presented that would reverse the decision.

JHT's anger should be directed at Kenny, really. Even if he was just trying to block the player, he's completely ballsed it up and managed to make it look like assault.
