đ° Another lunchtime at Colney, as we await the boss for his thoughts ahead of the trip to Pompey

JHT on QPR result: âWithout giving everything away, it was good for us to open up about where we are as a team. We have the feeling we are a good football team and we know how we can perform when at our best. Itâs difficult as itâs about finding balance.â
JHT: âWe have shown what we can do as a team to the fans and everybody. But we also need to improve on consistency.â
JHT: âIâm asking the players to do something which is completely new to them. We need to give time for this. Everything we do is still as a collective and we all need to be on the same page.â
JHT: âAs a coach you always need to be pragmatic to win games. We have ambitions to be a clear football team where ever you see us play, thatâs where we have to go. We still build towards this, but sometimes we need to take a step back to improve.â
JHT: âAs a coach you always need to be pragmatic to win games. We have ambitions to be a clear football team, so that wherever you see us play itâs the same. We still build towards this, but sometimes we need to take a step back to improve.â
JHT on set-pieces: âI think the players have been solid at defending set-pieces, itâs a league where lots of teams are strong. We have to accept that and work on solutions to how to solve this. At QPR we gave away lots of throw-ins, which led to these set-piece chances.â
JHT on Nick Stanley: âEverything is collective. If you want to blame one guy, then itâs me. Everything we do is as a group of coaches and analysts. All the coaches have responsibilities.â
JHT on Kellen Fisher at LB: âAgainst QPR it didnât work, but against West Brom it did. Sometimes itâs down to the opposition and how they press us, but also the individualâs performance.â
JHT on Portsmouth: âThey will look at the QPR game and see where they can hurt us. We are aware of that and have made a game plan for that. Itâs a difficult task for the guys, but we are well prepared.â
JHT: âIf we donât succeed then we need to be better, thatâs my principal. Thatâs what we have spoken about. How I see football is to kill the momentum of the stadium by keeping possession.â
JHT confirms âno further squad issuesâ coming out of Saturdayâs game
