This has always been the challenge

People who do well in the public sector are very different from people who do well in the private sector. There are examples of people who've done well in both, but not many. It's a completely different mindset and attitude, and picking the management and setting the management structure are key things to get right in the new world.

Still in water we have neither owned by the public nor run well, so there's always that example to avoid emulating, I guess.
