I think a lot of it is BBC-bashing / BBC-squirming
cos they have been under a lot of pressure for past scandals.
One amusing aspect of this particular one is watching the usual BBC haters being slightly conflicted: on the one hand it's the BBC, so let's get stuck in - but on the other, the complaints sound like liberal woke nonsense, and Gregg was just being a man's man. Which side to take?
