It's an obvious weakpoint in Western infrastructure

and disrupting it is very deniable, just the kind of low-grade f**kery the Russkis and Chinese like to dabble in.

We do need a plan B in case all the subsea cables suddenly go spong and hopefully we have one, as well as better defences on the cables that we have already.

Catching the scamps at it red handed would also be a useful thing to do.
