However, the question was whether the Dutch population are outraged by this and would rather repeal the law? Remember the question was about the UK “ending up like Canada, the Netherlands or Belgium” most of which sounds like rather an attractive prospect. So I assumed that we would have lots of readily available statistics about how, since these laws were introduced, the locals have not been happy about it and have been heavily in favour of repealing the law?

Or are they generally in favour, which would suggest the U.K. ending up like them would be a generally positively received thing to happen?
