That's undoubtedly a big risk

Ultimately though I don't want to end like close relatives have ended, I want the choice as and when I get there.

There should be no question of palliative care not being the best available, nor of that or anything else being used to pressure explicitly or implicitly, but that does remain the major risk and it's something that needs to be taken really seriously.

Overall, though, selfishly, I want the choice when it's my turn.
