And it is quite frankly a ridicuous idea. All governments change their policies and sometimes break promises. As Loz says, look at the absolute car crash of Brexit vs the promises (350m for the NHS?!).
The idea that we should have an a general election every time a politician breaks a promise is either (a) evidence of a 10 year old's understanding of how politics works or (b) trolling. You decide.
