But my point was just that the current perception is that we're on the right track now and this is a blip caused by injuries (which is what you're saying too).

Whether that's right or not can only be judged with the benefit of hindsight; it might not just be a honeymoon period thing if the perception is correct.

I don't think the view was inherently wrong that Wagner wasn't the right man to take us forward, even if the judgement of him in the injury ravaged spell last season was overly harsh.
