It’s a totally different feel from Majorca or Ibiza, quite sleepy

Mahon (which gave the world mayonnaise) is lovely - some of it is quite bizarre, built by Britain in the eighteenth century in London style, so there are these incongruous brick built Georgian terraces! The Christine Bedfor in Mahon is quite nice as a place to stay.

There’s a fabulous hotel out west near Ciutadella, the Son Vell. It’s lovely but start saving!
