It’s a squad and back room rebuild. This season will be largely

inconsistent. Lots of new, young players, boss assessing what he’s got and what he hasn’t (need a few months of a season to really have a feeling).

I’d expect us picking up a few youngsters for the academy in January, and then another summer transfer window to get somewhere close to what he thinks he needs as a squad. I can see Hanley and Fassnacht leaving in Jan on loans then released.

In summer I would expect us to let a few more go - Barnes, Duffy,

As far as systems go, as long as they are sound then none are right or wrong. Just need the right players for it and make sure it’s coached well. Most coaches don’t stick to their system because they are stubborn or believe it’s the only way - it’s just because it’s the one they know best and can teach best in detail.
