We are different

We can certainly build on what Southgate has achieved.

Looked a bit shaky defensively in that system at the same time that individually the centre backs played well. Rice is far more advanced more often, which exposes the centre backs more.

Going to be hard to tell now we are in League One, and at the moment playing without Bellingham, Foden and Palmer.

Far more attractive football. Can't say we are creating any more chances than under Southgate though.

Angel looks like a GREAT addition. Grealish will get plaudits but I thought while he linked up well with Gordon in the first half, he and Mandueke held on to the ball too long, slowing down the attack which you can't do against a parked bus.

And we still only have one striker.
