But it is frustrating that they often state “may” be recorded when they are all recorded and as Jumbo says they use them for legal defence but don’t tell you that.

Having said that, I just won a dispute with my local garage who denied an offer I had been given by phone until they told me they “recorded all calls” and I asked for a copy of the conversation,
