I don't consider myself negative and I wouldn't say that Thorup is an upgrade on Wagner

Not yet anyway. He might well be but there's no evidence yet to suggest he is. Wagner far more experienced and with a Championship promotion on his record.Thorup one season in the Danish league. A pretty poor pre-season and a terrible start to this season.
