I mean there is quite an obvious reason for this isn't there.

Anyone would be rightly worried about losing a top talent who is playing well.

He is now not playing well, and on top of that, appears to be exploding his own career.

Things change shocker. I'm not sure why people changing their minds would be such a 'strange' thing? Surely the healthiest way is to assess things on their merits than to rigidly stick to one opinion, and never back down from it.
