Few views of minee

September will be interesting for Man City's season. If they get Hammered in the charges it will be hard for them to hold the season like they have previously.

Secondly, as much as I think Pep is one of the greatest ever, managers last seasons rarely end in success.
It's like that co worker who's given 4-6 weeks notice, who has already started leaving, calls in sick, or simply just does very little, takes longer lunches.
Pep won't do that, but his focus will psychologically drop like Klopps did. Clough famously relegated Forest in his last season.

Man city simply can't win the league this season otherwise Pep is the Great, or not real.

In that sense, with Arsenal and Liverpool desperate to win the league. They are more likely to be hungry and put 10 past Ipswich.

Im happy to have this thread here in case I come across as trolling, but Ipswich will stay up this season. McKenna wasn't taken by summer speculation. He's a good manager and it's his squad.
I'm pretty sure by January they'll have 25-30 points and will be on the right side of needing 10 for safety with 15 games left.

My opinion of why Southgate did well as England manager was that he had most of his squads at under 21 level so they went through it with him for years. At the Euros this time they weren't his ducklings but players he had to select and he couldn't motivate them because the mediocrity of his management ability showed as he couldn't motivate the best squad in the world.

McKenna is a good coach and they are his ducklings. His extra signings aren't reckless either. They'll be alright this season

Well both see in the next couple of months
