structure. It sometimes worked, sometimes didn’t but I saw patterns we attempted with varying success repeatedly.
Also when it did go wrong, it was either someone surprised by the space being closed down and getting bullied off the ball (Forson, still learning, Nunez, should know better), or an errant pass often hard to tell whether the issue was the accuracy of the pass or whether the recipient was in the right place for the system.
Crnac showed some lovely stuff, some tenacity, but also showed he wasn’t used to the physicality or speed of the game yet, and was invisible at times which is no surprise as he still hasn’t had the time to work into the team or system.
And then we just had the howlers which you’re not going to see every week like Sainz completely bodging a fairly simple cross.
Anyway. It just looked like most of thr things stopping us really clicking were coachable. And that’s gives hope.
