If you have a spare one (which these days I always do due to this risk) its not so bad

Pretty simple to block the missing one, erase data, deauthorise it from any financial transactions.

Set up Facial recognition or any other MFA or 2FA you can for sensitive apps like Banking (and also social as that can lead to phishing others). You basically brick the thing. Stealing phones these days is not attractive for the phone itself but only for what you can get out of it before everything gets blocked.

Use Facial recognition on everything you can. OK they might cut your head off for reference but hey. At least then you won't care.
