Brøndby sells the great talent Oscar Schwartau.
Tipsbladet can reveal that.
According to Tipsbladet's information, Norwich buys the Championship U19 national team player.
The clubs have agreed on a deal that will send approximately 2.5 million euros, almost DKK 19 million, to the Superliga club for the sale.
Bonuses are included in that price.
All that is needed is a medical check and a signature before the deal is completed, and Oscar Schwartau gets a contract of at least four years.
Oscar Schwartau is historic in Brøndby, as he was just 16 years and 61 days old when he made his debut in 2022 and broke a record for the club in the Super League.
Now he travels away as an 18-year-old to a club that has Johannes Hoff Thorup as head coach and Glen Riddersholm as assistant coach.
It happens after Brøndby and Oscar Schwartau have been unable to agree on a contract extension, as the current agreement was set to expire after this season.
Despite a reputation as one of the club's greatest talents, Oscar Schwartau did not get much playing time last season, while this season it has looked better with playing time in four out of five Superliga matches. In the first match he was not available as he was at the U19 EC.
The teenager started inside against Vejle Boldklub and Lyngby Boldklub in matches that were both won, just as he got playing time in all Conference League matches.
But now the time is over in Brøndby, Oscar Schwartau is sold to Norwich.
