Its also a fact that most of the drug gangs in the city and therefore the gun crime, involves members of the Moroccan, Algerian and Tunisian communities who have their local national rivalries. That's why it's relevant.
The same applies to Toulon and Grenoble and parts of Paris too, so its not a problem peculiar to Marseille within France.
