Jon Rowe has obviously never been to Marseille

If he had, he might be so keen on this move. In a nutshell, the place is a s**thole, very high North African immigrant population and the worst French city by far for drugs and gun crime.
I live about two hours away by car and we avoid going there unless absolutely necessary, although I have to sometimes because of work, but never out of choice. Most of the local French feel the same way.
