I’ve had plantar fasciitis for a few years now. The NHS

couldn’t do anything for it so I tried Bowen therapy which helped massively.
I have also spoken to someone that studied biomechanics and they said that modern footwear is not designed for health, they are designed mainly for fashion. Soles are too thick, they are wedged (heel higher than ball which causes incorrect posture in the lower back), and they prevent the natural flexibility of the foot. They also taper the toes when the toes should in fact be the widest part of the foot.
Look up some foot flexibility exercises and look into barefoot shoes
