He realised he wasn’t going anywhere, was humbled by being put with the kids and reserves and issued a grovelling apology to get his place back in the team. If we sell Rowe at less than our asking price now, it’ll be a disaster for us - not financially, but it terms of managing player/club relationships. We’re already looking at hovering around the bottom three this season, sadly, and we can do without players thinking they’ll be better off elsewhere and throwing their weight around because they or their agents know it can be done.
