Agreed. We can not let players start to dictate when they leave and for how much.

He’s under contract so until that runs out he has handed control of his exit to the club. Same goes for Idah. He liked that 5 year contract when it was put in front of him, but now he doesn’t……hard luck mate!
On the flip side, if we are unrealistic with the fee we demand from buying clubs the next crop of youth ‘stars’ may opt for 1 year deals so they retain more control.
Is fans don’t help by treating Rowe as if he’s a great player when he’s only had half of a good season in the championship. Todd cantwell did better than that in the prem and he’s now a journeyman!
