With all the talk about lowering age, dominating possession,

we ended up with Stacey, Hanley, Duffy at the back and then introduced Sorensen.
Why oh why did we not bring on Hills for Hanley?
We know Sorensen is not the answer at CB.
Then to bring on Idah who we know wants away seemed like desperation.
Therefore we started with the basis of last season's team minus Sara, Rowe and Dimi - much weaker.
With that starting line-up we were never going to dominate possession, we were going to make mistakes and not be able to pass out from the back. We have seen it all before.
Oxford were better in all departments.
Perhaps the new manager had to see it for himself.
Only positive was the debut of Forson in the second half.
Hopefully big changes for Blackburn (who looked pretty good on Friday).
