Never understood the pejorative use of the expression ‘woke’

Strikes me it generally refers to educating yourself about things, rather than wallowing in a comfortable cess pit of ignorance, prejudice, bigotry, caricatures and anti-social media mis-information.
Guess that reasonable debate and discussion is just too difficult for some. Much easier to spew out hate & insults. Happy for you to block me ☮️
