Marvellous to hear. You’ll take him to his first game at the carra I shink

When I took my eldest boy to his first game I asked him after what he thought and he said: yes it was great dad but everyone was so rude to the referee do they know how hard it is to be a referee it must have made him feel really sad people saying all that about him.

I didn’t know whether to rejoice in his obvious empathy or despair at the amount I clearly still had to teach him about football.
