The Duffy/Barnes gamble totally failed

If you go gnarled pro on top dollar, you must get promoted as by definition you’re building zero for the future. Now we’re stuck with both on big money. Club had learned nothing from its own recent history, which is always nice. Hanley is more unfortunate, as he was an asset before he got that really nasty injury. But yes, the end result is the same. All three of them will now see out their contract with us, sucking up a large slice of our playing budget for very little.
