that we have lost the parachute payment this season so a massive drop in income. Covering that drop means either:
a) the players take massive pay cuts, in which case they'll be desperate to force a move
b) we flog valuable players and buy cheaper replacements

There are no other realistic options so anyone suggesting this is a club "choice" is a f**kwit. People will suggest this, though, because there are plenty of f**kwits about.
