they probably drive themselves from venue to venue

set there own gear up

most people haven't heard of them so can't charge a premium price

and a quick glance at the venues (Fulford Arms ) would suggest the hire cost is low or perhaps even free (the extra beer sold covering that cost )

and all other costs will be lower or even met by the record company
