The privatisation of the Railway has destroyed it imo.
I looked into the Flaming Lips in Leeds, but that's £60. Train is £20 return to Leeds now.
Except there's been action for over 4 years now so can I trust the trains?
Also timetabling has been so chronically bad recently that the last train home is 2230. So I'm stressed about getting back.
So it would be a £100 hotel room

100+20+60+ about £50-60 in food and drink.

Basically I see Flaming Lips are playing, realise it's £240 for a night out, and think about doing something else

If it's someone I love yea, but that's going to be about 5 bands tops
