But I think what you’re describing is what I have labelled as The Lambert Miracle style of promotion. I suppose the other form of miracle is The Farke Miracle, which depends on picking up 50 goals in two players for next to nothing (Buendia, Pukki).

It’s doable, just difficult and unlikely. And I don’t see any evidence we’re about to witness one.
