everyone has a cap on what is achievable with their natural talents.

Todd has worked hard, or he wouldn't be where he is. Personally, I think it's the talent bit that stops him playing at the highest level. I think his attitude stops him from fulfilling his potential of having a really successful and long career at a good club (like Rangers or Norwich) because he thinks he's better than that.

Just to be clear though, when I say he's short of that bit of critical talent, what I'm getting at as is he doesn't have the vision for a pass that players like Buendia, Maddison or Hoolahan had, and you cannot teach it. He can beat his man, and shows loads of nice touches and scores good goals, but the next level players beat their man and then play a pass that completely splits the defence open (not always, but sometimes).
