But only if they are the best candidate, or one of them.

The obvious thing to do would be to start developing female coaches via the England youth system, and hopefully reach the point where they do very well and are the U21 coach, with relevant experience ready to step up.

It would be great if mens clubs started giving women a chance at coaching, but I think we're a little way off that at the moment.
