As part of their unholy alliance with the PL the National League are launching a cup competition against Cat 1 Acad sides this season.

Once confirmed, NCFC U21s are likely to be in a regionalised group and play matches at three Nat Lge sides [e.g. Barnet, Boston, Dagenham].
This comp is expected to start in November.

This is great news for Dean Rastrick & groundhoppers.
But not so great for those who feel that the PL have undue influence.
