ER more at fault than AM as she shouldn't have agreed in the first place. She's a good player and should make the semifinals (then it's Coco Gauff), but she is a) hard nosed it seems given by the name of coaches she has had and b) extremely fragile....

She has clearly prioritised the Singles over an exhibition match with a legend on his farewell tour. Fair enough? Not sure....

However AM surely knew what she was like both commitment and injury wise. As someone accurately pointed out on here yesterday he chose to play (for his own ego) with the tennis equivalent of Louis Thompson.

Once Emma realised she could go a long way at Wimbledon this was always going to end in tears - or start in tears as it proved.
