It means not allowing unsustainable numbers of people in to the country

Whether legally or illegally.

The numbers for the last 20 years have been ridiculous and are unsustainable. And under Sunak they got worse.

You cannot add a number of people equivalent to the city of Leicester to the population every year and it be sustainable. Doesn’t matter what race or nationality we are talking about.

Whatever anyone claims it does impact on capacity of services. It has also not enabled proper integration and has resulted in huge cultural and demographic change over a short period of time which is what enables the rise of the “far right” as they are referred to nowadays.

The boats are symbolic of the issue but they are a bit of a headline grabbing side show.
