Nobody is complaining about the system

I think though that it underlines that this is not a government coming to power on a wave of momentum or euphoria. It’s a government coming to power because the previous government(s) have been a mess, lacked integrity and have lost the trust of the public. Labour are the “least worst” option.

We needed a change. Hopefully they will do a good job and bring some stability. I have worries about “what lurks beneath” Starmer and fear we will see some unfair taxation policies due to the straight jacket they have put themselves in as well as continuing to fail to get a grip on immigration. But you won’t find any argument from me on the point that the tories have been an utter mess or that they deserved to be kicked out.
