One big thing to remember about this election

The Brexit referendum was called to neutralise the Farage threat to the Conservative Party.

That went so well that just eight years later Reform has savaged the Conservative Party and given Labour a landslide.

Of course we've all paid a heavy price for that referendum and the result, and we'll carry on paying it for years. But the amazing thing is that the Tories aren't going to learn any kind of lesson from this, are they? Just a question of whether they choose Badenoch or Braverman, to carry on aping the far right and then losing to it.
