It's not really a secret that Farage fancies a reverse takeover of the Tories

That entity would do well in the next election. To counter that Starmer needs a) a solid track record of delivery and b) some big, new ideas which he's spent a couple of years pre-election socialising. I suspect given all that Starmer would still win again but with a much lower majority.

I'm really disheartened by how well Reform have done so far.
