yes - it's always been the case, inevitably

but rarely if ever to the extent promised by this election - genuine stability is not a very large & pissed off part of part of the population being ignored by its government - that way lies trump, france (& frankly, most of europe as things stand) - indeed, that was the way of brexit I suspect
