Strange comment, as for all the valid criticism of TAA,

not being a natural passer would be a strange one.

For me, it would either be Mainoo (although largely unproven) next to Rice, or drop Bellingham back and put Foden or Palmer in at 10.

I would even consider playing Watkins on the left of attack rather than Foden, Gordon or Eze, just so that Kane can then drop deeper but have someone running in behind each side. I think that's what we've missed. Kane drops deep for the ball - we all know that - but so does Bellingham and so does Foden, and that causes our issues dropping deep because then the midfield drops to give space, and the defence has to do the same.

TAA has an excellent passing range but he cannot hit the balls in over the top because only Saka is there, and then when he receives it he is on his own and needs to go the long way around (i.e. to the touchline) to give the rest time to get to the area.

Also, Bellingham is wasted at 10 if we end up in that situation.
