Then the winners of groups BCDF are then paired with a third placed team , but not the third placed team of their group

see below note the group winners and the combination of third placed teams and then you read of the team or the group they came from for example Winners of group B and the final third place combination is ABCD then they will play third place team from Group A , but if its ABDE they will play third place team from Group D
