Our neighbours are Polish, lovely family. When they first moved in we thought they were go

ing to be trouble because they were constantly angrily shouting at each other but we eventually realised that was their normal speaking voices and they were just having a regular conversation.

I also went round to knock on their door to complain about the loud bassy music they were playing until 3am+ regularly we could hear in our bedroom. They looked really surprised but apologised. Three days later I discovered our son's headphones had broken and he was playing video games into the night on a set of speakers instead and the bass notes we could hear were from that, vibrating through the house. What an arse.
