Don't forget that we schooled Germany at Wembley AFTER

we had played very defensively against Croatia, but managed a 1-0 win, were absolutely terrible in our 0-0 massive defeat by the Scots, and then scraped a 1-0 win over the Czechs to get to the second round as group winners on 7 points.

So basically the same if we win 1-0 against Slovenia.

Nobody remembers the group stages at a tournament (unless you don't progress)
