Thought this was general knowledge a few days ago? If different then

it's another Jay Slater from within 2 miles of Accrington of precisely the same age and an uncanny resemblence.

However I am not sure of the relevance to the ongoing search, assuming that one would have to be a fairly nasty piece of work to think that past crimes would affect the amount of sympathy allowed for the potential death of somebody's teenage son.
