I've thought the same thing re one too many

I think he was reluctant to carry on after the WC but was persuaded against his better judgment ... often a bad sign. He does however sèm to have made a dreadful mess of the while thing (as far..) - all of his known recognised flaws have been illuminated in dazzling technicolor
