i got arrested there once

my own fault really trying to take some cash through from kosovo to bosnia didn't realise there was a eur 10k limit. anyway serb plod took me into a room full of coppers and they counted the cash out in piles on the table whilst the captain was thumbing through a yank police equipment brochure and i'm thinking; next stop, shallow grave in the forest for me, i'm f**ked. at the end though he gets his lackey to give me a receipt for the cash and i get told to go to belgrade and get a lawyer to apply for the cash back next day. they did let me keep 10k tbf. next day turned out to be about a year and a half and they only returned 75% of the total. i used to do that run pretty much every month though, all good things come to an end 🤷‍♂️
